Reporting to the Lead Solution Architect in the Digitalisation Office, the Senior Solution Architect will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and secure end-to-end technical solutions that meet business objectives for our digital transformation initiatives;
- Lead the architectural design for key projects, including but not limited to AI chatbots, AI-powered business efficiency tools, data analytics platforms and customer relationship management (CRM) systems;
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product managers, engineering teams, risk team, compliance team and external vendors to translate complex business requirements into tangible architectural blueprints and technical specifications;
- Ensure all proposed solutions adhere to stringent BFSI industry regulations, internal security policies and risk management frameworks;

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other project team members, championing best practices in cloud architecture, DevOps and software engineering.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Engineering or relevant discipline. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly advantageous;
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in related technical areas, in particular 3 years of experience being Solution Architect for medium to large size projects, preferably within the BFSI sector;
- Hands-on expertise in designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) with demonstrable skills in the following areas:
- Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps: Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation), containerisation (Kubernetes, Docker) and CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Cloud Networking & Security: Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) design, hybrid cloud connectivity, cloud security policies, SIEM integration and security operations automation.
- Solid understanding of enterprise cloud architecture principles, modern data architecture (e.g. data lakes, data warehousing) and design patterns such as microservices and API-first design;
- Proficiency with software development concepts, including application frontend design, API design (REST, GraphQL) and building scalable microservices;
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, TypeScript) will be a bonus; and
- Ability to design solutions that meet strict compliance, security and risk requirements inherent in the financial services industry.
